Vocalist with the Red Bee Society, Mark Baillie’s business expertise encapsulates band management (the 1990’s and Woodenbox) and he is now a lecturer in Music Business at Glasgow Kelvin College (formerly Stow).
Here he discusses international cultural exchanges and believes Glasgow has an infrastructure which is conducive to being a music city.
Since their formation in 2011, Glasgow’s The Sundance Shatter have been developing their repertoire and steadily building a reputation as one of the city’s most promising live acts. Last year, they self-released their debut EP Sunrise and new single, Heartbreaker, will be released next month.
In this interview, singer, Robert Kirkpatrick, discusses the band’s development and muses on what, if anything, differentiates Glasgow bands from their peers in other parts of the country.
